Attendance Procedures
Students are required to attend their West Shore classes following the Lakewood City School District calendar. If this differs from your student's home school schedule, attendance at West Shore is still required. West Shore attendance is taken daily in each classroom.
LAKEWOOD STUDENTS:
Please contact Lakewood High School attendance at 216-227-5991 to excuse a student's absence, late arrive or early dismissal. A second call does NOT need to be made to West Shore attendance.
BAY, ROCKY RIVER & WESTLAKE STUDENTS:
To excuse a student's absence, late arrival, or early dismissal, the parent/guardian is to call 216-529-4163 the day of the absence by 8:00 AM. This must be done in addition to calling the student's home school's attendance office.
- Leave the student's name (spell the last name)
- Reason for absence
- Name of the Parent/Guardian making the phone call
